Krueger (as always, Robert Englund) is back (again). He quickly dispatches the three survivors of Nightmare 3. It seems that Alice (Lisa Wilcox), a friend of one of the Nightmare 3 survivors, Kristen (Patricia Arquette in 3, Tuesday Knight in 4), has the ability to absorb people's dream powers when they die. Freddy starts using Alice to get to her friends until Alice finally blasts him out of the water with her accumulated dream abilities.
